3 year old in diapers not pull-ups?

Posted by   + Show Post
My son is 3 year old and still in diapers. When we went to play group yesterday one mom asked me why I don't put in pull-ups instead of diapers. I told her they are more expensive and hold my sons pee better. Any moms who kids are still in diapers?

Mine is. She struggles to potty train. She's embarrassed to go and holds it in for hours then cry she's in pain cause she doesn't want to let it out. I don't know what I'm gonna do. (yes I've tried all the tricks)

My son is almost 3, we transferred him to pull-ups around 2 - 2 1/2. But some kids will go directly to potty training from diapers. Some parents just throw underwear on their kids and other do an extra step with a pull-up. It depends on brands of diapers and pull-ups and whether or not your child pees a lot during the day/night. It is whatever you want to do. You know what's best and you know your child. Every parent and child is different. Some kids are potty trained by 2 or earlier and others are later. It's not a big deal.
