Should a man be forced to pay child support if...?

A couple gets together and he says he doesn't ever want kids and she agrees BUT secretly wishes to have them in the future.

She goes on the pill and they use condoms as a backup measure, just in case, because he's adamantly against having children but isn't ready to be sterilized just yet.

A year or so later, she decides she wants a baby and not only stops taking the pill without telling him but also sabotages the condoms.

When she gets pregnant, he reminds her he doesn't want kids, never did, and urges her to abort. She refuses, but when the baby's born she takes him to court for child support.

Should he have to pay child support even though he was forced into fatherhood by her deception?

you can't prove that it was actually sabotaged. and birth control and condoms are not 100% eff anyways.

Yup he is responsible for what comes out of his body. If he was 100% against having kids he should have gotten snipped.

If she stopped taking the pill without telling him and messed with the condoms so they wouldn't work, it doesn't seem fair that he should have to pay.

It seems like she totally scammed him and tricked him into having a kid!

No matter how you roll the dice.. it's still his kid. Yes, he should pay.

If she kept taking the pills and they didn't work, that would be one thing.  If she stopped taking them but didn't let him know and kept having sex with him, that's totally different.

Doesn't seem right that he'd have to pay when he was lied to and tricked into sex with someone who wasn't using any birth control!

If he was that against having kids, he should've gotten a vasectomy, but even then accidents happen. My good friend is now 7 months pregnant from a failed vasectomy.

He wasn't tricked into sex.  If he wanted to never have kids, he should have controlled HIS fertility better.  Her body is her decision, and condoms are known to break.

Plus, he's been with her for a year.  How does he NOT know her well enough to see how utterly baby crazy she is?  He should have left her LONG before she "tricked him" into getting her pg.
