For me, I don't like it. I think it's rude unless both parties agree to it. It didn't happen at my wedding.

I think it is good fun. i did it at my wedding. However, not everyone feels the same so it depends on the person.

I think that is really up to the individual couple. If both parties are into, then obviously it's fun. But if one person knows that their new spouse isn't into and they do it anyway, then it's disrepectful.

We actually didn't do the feeding each other cake thing at all.

Rude, immature, tactless... I told my SO that if he ever tries it, I will likely cry. He promised not to.

I'm in Europe and this kind of thing just doesn't happen here. I think it has to be one of the most immature, ridiculous "customs" that have been invented to date. I thought you were supposed to be a princess on your wedding day ... and suddenly it's like you're in the middle of a Muppets episode? Nope. I just don't get it.

I think it's a terrible idea!  It was not even a discussion for DH and I when we got married.  I think it's stupid and I can't stand to see other couples do it, beyond tacky and immature.

We did not shove cake at each other. It is just tacky, classless, and rude when people do that in my opinion.
