Do you think this is good fun or a sign or disrespect for the future?
Debate in our house!!
I think it is good fun. i did it at my wedding. However, not everyone feels the same so it depends on the person.
I think that is really up to the individual couple. If both parties are into, then obviously it's fun. But if one person knows that their new spouse isn't into and they do it anyway, then it's disrepectful.
We actually didn't do the feeding each other cake thing at all.
I don't like it, and we didn't do it.
I'm in Europe and this kind of thing just doesn't happen here. I think it has to be one of the most immature, ridiculous "customs" that have been invented to date. I thought you were supposed to be a princess on your wedding day ... and suddenly it's like you're in the middle of a Muppets episode? Nope. I just don't get it.
I think it's a terrible idea! It was not even a discussion for DH and I when we got married. I think it's stupid and I can't stand to see other couples do it, beyond tacky and immature.
