Okay, opinions needed...Is it inappropriate for a 6 year old to dress as "Holly-Go-Lightly" from "Breakfast At Tiffany's" (since she's basically an escort)? I'm on the fence. I've seen some really cute costume ideas but can't get her profession out of my head.

Thanks.

Exactly like that! Nothing skimpy. I make those tutus and ran across that and thought "I can do that!".

that seems a bit mature for a 6yr old.  I would try and get a good ride out of the animal, butterfly, princess costumes as i can before they start getting skimpier and skimpier the older she gets.  We still do family costumes at the moment and mine will be turning 7.  We did a bug theme last year.

Her little brother is only 16 months old right now. We're (DH and I) are thinking about making him "cat" from the movie. Since he's too young to complain much we figure we can get away with it, lol.

I love tutu dresses and so does my DD (2 in one week). I have seen this costume before and I think it's adorable.

Jealous you can make it, lol!

My girls hate tutu dresses lol, they complain that they are too itchy. But last year they suffered through it because they loved their tutu Halloween costumes.....and this year they will be wearing tutu costumes again.
