Hi. Im new here and not very computer savy but I have a son who has serious anger issues.I dont know how to handle them.I am afraid that he will end up in jail if he doesn't change. He is also adhd and may have other issues as well.

he is 13 years old and lives with his father. We are divorced and his father is remarried. He has been expelled from school and is in a "boot-camp" type school, temporarily. He will barely speak to me.Where do I start?

I dont know how much to add here because it is a very long story.

Is he getting any type of treatment? If he is you should try to be there for all of his therapy sessions and be in contact with his doctors. Knowing why he is acting up should be the first step. After that you can get advice from proffesionals to see what the next step is. He is young, I'm sure there is something that can be done.

I would suggest having him see a child pyschologist to try and determine the root of his anger issues and a way for him to express himself without the anger. Also a behavior specialist could help too. Whatever route you take, I think treatment of some sort will be beneficial for you all.

Hi!  Has your son been any sort of therapy or counseling?  Has he seen a behavioral psychologist?

Have you gone to family counseling. It may be a big help to him and all of you! Hugs!
