Do you let your kids eat or drink in the car?

Just curious.  We let DS drink if it's water.  No juices or anything that stains.

Food is off limits. Yes, we have a fairly new car. LOL Maybe after the newness wears off we'll change our minds.

My kids don't really eat much in the car because we don't eat fast food or food that is convenient. They are allowed to have water in their seat and things like carrots or other veggies but that's about it.

I just do water unless it's a 2-3 hour trip or longer. Then she does eat snacks sometimes. When I am traveling alone with her, I generally stop and let her eat or drink.

I said at the beginning no food and drinks in the back seat. Well it changed fast. I've a blanket under their car seats and I clean it out at least once a month.

We got a new car and don't let our daughter eat anything inside ! We learned from our last car not to let it happen Again lol ! I must admit (haven't told hubby yet) I was coming from school and was really hungry so I stopped to get some fast food :( and ate inside the car ..of course I spread my sweater and ate on top of it so it won't get dirty ..I'm such a bad girl ! Won't happen again I felt guilty

i have always allowed it. I value relationships over my car's cleanliness.
my mom valued clean above all else so I'm the opposite.

Yes, in spill-proof cups and snacks that aren't real messy
