My kids are bugging me for a Facebook account. I'm not wanting to give them one. My older kids have one they are 20 and two 17 yr olds. The ones who are bugging me, are 11 and 13 .. They only want them because friends have them. So my question is how many of your kids have one and what are their ages?

Only my oldest has a Facebook account. He's 13 and we made our rules very clear when we said yes.

We are in slightly a different situation than most.
His family lives in Germany and FB gives them and him an instant way of seeing what each other are up to and talk to each other
Plus we travel a fair bit to Paris and Switzerland so I'm glad it GI ex him a way to stay in contact with friends back here so he doesn't miss things, as I know how important stuff like that is. Especially as he starts yr 10 this year (which would be high school in the US and that stuff becomes more important)

I am setting up an account for my kids 8 & 9 but it will be completely locked down and only used to talk with their cousins on a private page I am setting up.
