Hi ladies. I was just wondering what everyone thought about leaving your crockpot on all day if you were not home. I have friends that do and then I have some that say it is too dangerous, what do you think?

I've done it a couple times for an hour. I keep it on low when I did.

I don't do it because I leave mine to cook overnight. I don't make crock pot dinners, only breakfasts and lunches. I wouldn't be against it though, providing the crock lot itself is in good condition and in a safe and secure place on the counter.

I've left mine on many times during the day when I'm gone. I love coming home to a cooked meal and yummy smelling house. My parents also use to leave the crock pot on while we were all gone to work or school.
