Is this sign an accurate representation of Christianity?

Church Posts Sign About 'Stoning' Homosexuals You've Got to See to Believe

As a Christian, nothing makes my blood boil faster than the perverted Word of God. Which is why I'm glad the notoriously bigoted "church," ATLAH Worldwide Missionary Church in Harlem, NYC, has at least been called out for violating permits with their anti-gay signs.

This "church" is as well-known for its insane eccentric pastor, James David Manning, as it is for its cruel messages against the LGBT community.

They were fined this week for "five violations for altering its landmarked premises on 123rd Street and Lenox Avenue without permission."

Basically, it was the physical sign that was not permitted, not what it said. Because free speech and the First Amendment and all that. Which I totally respect, by the way. But gah! It's hard to stomach sometimes when you see things like this.

Is this the most disgusting thing you've ever seen?

They put a sign up that read, "Jesus would stone homos -- stoning is still the law."

Um ... what? Jesus would stone "homos"? Yes, because there are so many incidences in the Bible of Jesus stoning people. Name one, please. Actually, please tell me one incident where Jesus condemned anyone who longed after Him and His teachings?

You know who Jesus did condemn? The pious. Just saying.

Thankfully, this is obviously some whackadoodle sect of "Christianity" that has nothing to do with Jesus. Manning (the purported pastor of this so-called church) has claimed in the past that lattes from Starbucks are flavored with male bodily fluids.

More from The Stir: Court Bans Mom From Talking Religion With Her Kids & It's Probably for the Best

Manning has gone on record saying, "Starbucks is a place where these types frequent and a lot of body fluids are exchanged there ... the thing that I was not aware of is that ... what Starbucks was doing, is they were taking specimens of male semen, and they were putting it in the blends of their lattes."

But not just any semen will do for Starbucks lattes, because obviously. According to this nut job, "My suspicion is that they're getting their semen from sodomites. Semen flavours up the coffee, and makes you thinks you’re having a good time."

What a freaking fiasco, and what a disservice to those who really seek out the love of God.

Do you think this sign is an accurate representation of Christianity?

No, Jesus would not stone, and did not stone anyone.

Yes, in the Levitical law did call for harsh punishments for all sins, and payment for those sins. As we are all sinners,.we ALL DESERVE those harsh punishments under the law. God is just, and those punishments are just.

But because God is a God of mercy and love, He sent His son Jesus to perfectly complete the law without fail and carry the burden and punishments for OUR TRANSGRESSIONS. And by His sacrifice we no longer have to offer sacrifice nor offerings nor are subject to the punishments of the law because Jesus ALREADY did it for us.....ALL of us.

Christians who do not understand that do not know Jesus.

Of course it is not.
