Bedding switchover to winter bedding?

When the weather cools down I take a day to remove everything from the bed, including anti-allergy box springs and mattress covers, vacuum these, wash all protective coverings, rotate the mattress, replace with flannel sheets, blanket, electric blanket.

How do you prepare your bed, if you do, for cold weather (or hot weather if you are entering warmer weather now? )drowning in laundry

I don't think this applies to me.  I live in Florida.

I never add anything sometimes a blanket but I love sleeping with a comforter on even when it's hot.

Hubby has always been hot blooded so we don't change anything b/c we sleep with an AC and a fan on in the bedroom, no matter what the weather or temp outside. If I get cold, not that often after 30 years of living in the bedroom polar vortex, I toss a throw on my side.

I just add an extra blanket or two. I sleep with at least three year round anyway.

I generally dont. I am always hot and dh is always cold. We use the same sheets and blankets year round. I sleep iwth a fan next to me so there is airflow. I wash the sheets once a week, and the mattress pad and blankets once a month. Sometimes the blankets get washed more often because my dog sleeps with us. The mattress gets flipped once a year-ish. I febreze the mattress everytime I change the mattress pad.
