can my 2 year old have gatorade?

ok she woke up throwing up last night. she seems ok today so far. but i dont have any sprite or pedialyte at the moment. so if she starts throwing up again today can she drink gatorade? i know adults do when they are sick.

you might want to ask her pedi but I think it's okay.

I would definitely give her gatorade. It has electrolytes in it.

that should be ok.  my son is 2 and he has had it after being sick.

we use to water it down and give it to our dd.

Our peditrician has reccomended that for our 2 year old.

My now 4 y/o was sick at a young age and would not drink pedilite and the Dr. told me to mix half gatorade and half pedilite and it was ok.

YES!! my dr says that after 18 months that usually gatorade is the quickest ot rehydrate them, my DD is lactose intolerent so while that was clearing out of her system (it gave her the runs) she had lots of gatordae!

Sure. But coke settles the tummy better, and never sprite. And pedialite is best.

no it has way to much sugar in it! and will just make things worse!

It has little to none stuff that would be good for her while throwing up.

Give one tablespoon of water at a time, every 5 mins or 10 mins if she isn't holdong anything down

call her doc too

my pedi said pedialyte but gatorade does the same thing...lol and tastes better...
