My son who is 8 can be a handful at times and one day last week he was on my last nerve and he broke a snowglobe at the store and i hollered before i realized what i had done, and i was so upset that he didnt listen to what i said about not touching things and he came back and told me mommy i am so sorry but i have daddys dna in me so sometimes i will be bad i had to laugh at that it isnt like my husband is a bad man he has a habit of cussing alot and eric thinks that that is bad. so that's why he said what he did

this morning my son hit his knee on the coffee table. immediately he was screaming mommy call the ambulance, i think my knee CAST is broken. i looked at it and gave him an ice pack, and went and got my neighbor. he is an rn and really comes in handy having for a neighbor with an accident prone son. anyway, after i got him calmed down. he asked if we could go buy some CRUNCHERS cause he couldn't walk without them. i couldn't help but laugh, with tears in my eyes i told him that he would be ok without them. he was just hurting so bad, but then when i told him it was time to go to school. he ran to the door and down the stairs to beat me to the car (a game we play, that i never win). it was hilarious!!!
and by the way he has sensory issues and has a really high tolerance for pain. i don't think he even really felt it, but he knows that when u hit something it is supposed to hurt.
