Yes this happened to me also and I took like 3 different ones and they all did the same thing, and well I was pregnant!!! The Dr explained it to me it had something to due with the urine, the only way the dr could confirm was by a blood test...Good Luck

The test could have been faulty

I was told that a number of tests can and do fade after a particular time. If the test says to check after 5 min. then sometimes it can start to fade or disappear 10-15 minutes later. My doctor told me to only take the test when I could be right there to check it after the suggested amount of time. If you did see a positive line I would check again on toward the end of the week with your doctor if you still havent seen signs of aunt flo.

It happened to me and our baby is due in August.  Depending on how "new" the pregnancy is and how much hormone is in the urine, it starts to fade after a 15 mins or so.  That's what it says wait X minutes but not more than Y minutes to check.

read the box, it says how long the test is accurate.  it changes over time.

First of all let me say that I do not trust the tests with blue dye.  It can be too hard to tell the difference between an evaporation line and the real thing, especially if you're testing early and the line is faint.  Yours sounds more like an evap line, but it could also just be too early to get a true positive.  I'd wait a few days and test again with an Equate (Walmart brand).

That said, when I got pregnant with my 17 month old, I took an EPT to confirm and got a DARK positive.  After it dried though, it was barely visible.  Here are some pics so you can see for yourself.  =)

oh wow... yeah the test i took was a test my friend took from the dr. office she works at... its werid because there is a blue line, and then a pinl line shows up. i sw it because my friend just found out she is pegnant. and she ussed one of those tests. so when i took it the lin was so faint... i almost woner if i convinced myself it was there.
