Night Time Playing----No Bashing

At night around 7:00 i take my 16 month old son outside to play i let him run around while i'll follow him. I take him out late b/c im real busy during the day and its cooler outside. Well while im outside i put that OFF spray on him but yet when i come in at night he still has bug bits on him. Does anyone know any other bug spray that works good.

The reason i said no bashing in the title is because for the fact that i take my son out later in the evening i know some moms will think thats wrong.

have you tried Cutter?  Or maybe Skintastic? Check the ages on the sprays through---if they have DEET you aren't supposed to use them on really young kids. The Cutter worked great on mine when we went camping.  Keep some Benadryl on hand--or calamine lotion if the bites itch......Have fun playing in the evening air--we have done this too when it is so hot during the day......

Deets, it works very well, or if you buy Avon, Skin So Soft always worked great, and it's skin lotion so it doesn't have a bug spray smell......and as for 7pm being late, if it is not too late for you, who cares if it is too late for someone else.

the  misquitos are so  bad we  have  found  nothing that works, so if you fo let  me know

I feel like the bugs this year are exceptionally bad.  We use OFF too but we use the deep woods stuff no matter where we're going.  It has worked so far.  Let us know if you find anything else that works well.

i just giggled when u said u take your kids out late at 7pm. Mine refuse to come in b4 the street lights come on at 10pm ish. But they are 4 and 5, and I sit with the door wide open and they really dont go far. just to the neighbors back yard.

As for bugspray. Cutters makes a yard spray that works great. I use it at my parents house. On kids...I only us Avon Skin so Soft or if we are with my boyfriend, we just use the regular OFF spray.
