I started using baby soap right away, i was never told different. But as far as other soaps i wouldnt for a long time, i had my baby(7mon.) in the bath with me and her skin dried out so bad.Im guessing it was from the soap i used on myself.

I would use the bar one or the regular body wash..not the kind with the scubbers in it.

I use Johnson and Johnson vanilla oatmeal.  That way they smell nice and I don't worry about dry skin as much.  I've never used adult soap on my babies until they are 10 and older.  Call me weird but i buy them all their own tear free soaps and shampoos because I just am trying to take preventative measures.

Me too.... I used Johnson and JOhnson from Head to Toe (Tear free)... smells so good...and always, always use the Johnson and JOhnson Lotion.... my baby is biracial so...his skin can get very ashy just like his father...... I moisturize his skin at least twice a day...

Now that i think about it, when my first baby was like a year old. The Doctor did give me samples of Dove.(for sensitive skin) But i use Irish Spring, and thats what dried her out so bad.  So i would say Yes Dove is fine.
