Who shops in thrift stores?

With things being so high I shop in thrift stores for all kinds of things,do you and what would you go there for!!It saves money and i only shop that way for babies and young children they outgrow things so fast!!

I am a clearance rack kinda girl.  I buy my kiddos clothes as the seasons are going out for the next year.  Kohls has awesome clearance, so does Penny's, target, we are talking like 2 dollars for stuff sometimes.  gotta hit them right though or you miss out.

I have shopped at a thrift store in the past. Now I don't because the only one in our town is kind of gross ... But, when I move to NC I will .

I do... and I would even if I had a ton of money to spend on brand new things. I go to Once Upon A Child for the kids clothes, they are awesome and occasionally they have sales that you just can't pass up. I did it with my son at their last sale and he is set for clothes well into next year!

I also do tag sales and freecycle. I am not ashamed to get things used, I am actually proud of it.

i love thrift stores! i had 5 kids so couldn't afford more expensive places very often. i think thrift stores are great

i love thrift stores.. i don't get there often but i've bourght some pretty good buys there.  i especially like the house ware departments and vintage stores.. Some can be quite expensive. Can't go vintage shopping in NY.. you will pay an arm and two legs for just about anything vintage.. but still a fraction of the real cost now. I don't buy for my daughter.. i think she deserves everything new.. but i do for myself and my home.

i am actually going to one today, i need a new sweater, and a new book and i can get those both there pretty darn cheap! thats pretty much all where i shop you just have to look really well and dig lol to find the really good items!!! =)

When we donate to goodwill I will stop in and take a look at there books, sometimes you can find some really really old cookbooks with yummy recipes or books that were published in the late 1800's or early 1900's I am always on the hunt for antiques if I am given  the opportunity.
