Need input on grandbaby's name

My daughter and her husband thought they had come up with a name for my granddaughter to be. However, now they say they want to name her after me and my son in law's mom. I think that's great, and I'm so honored and excited. The only problem is his mom's name is Carolyn, and mine is Malinda. They want us to help them come up with a name using those, or variations of them. So far, all I've come up with is Cara Lynn, and Carleigh. If anyone has any ideas, please throw them our way. We appreciate it.

I think I like the Caralinda one the best

Is it a possibility to use a middle or maiden name in there?

i have a cousin who's middle name is the first two letters of one grandma and the first two of the other grandma.. and her middle name is JAEL

so.. she could just use any first name  with the middle name of Cama or Camil( pronounced Camille).. or she could just use Lynn because that is in both names..
