I have to deliver a persuasive speech topic for my speech class and I am stumped on a good topic. My teacher told me to stay away from controversial topics such as abortion. Any ideas ladies?

How about why people should participate in blood drives? Or how literacy is so important or drug awareness education or safety awareness education?
