Which Vacuum...Roomba or Dyson? What do you use?
I have a crappy vaccuum...I just cannot believe the prices of vacs these days. I'm tired of it clogging up and having to fix it..grr. My son is very messy, cereal all over the floor daily...
So Roomba anyone?
I was thinking of a remanufactured Dyson (I can't afford the full Dyson price)?
Or just stick with what I got?
Anyone have a SWEEPER that's non electric and just have your kids use that on the floor?
The guy at the vacuum store told me that the best vacuums for the money are the Panasonic uprights. We had to order ours from out of state (no Panasonic vac dealers in SLC? Weird.) and it works beautifully. We've got 2 dogs - was 3 up unitl a few weeks ago and 2 cats. I love my vacuum. Get one with a built in hose. :)

I have this one! I got it for DH for our 2 year anniversary LOL. He wanted one! But anyways it works great! On cereal and everything! Hose works good for the couch (under cushions). My Aunt has the roomba thing said it's a waste of money! My dad got that new Dyson one and said that it works the same as his old cheaper one! Good luck on your Vacuum Hunt!!
This one retails for 59.99 at Lowes. It's a Eureka bagless upright Optima(i think) It's very light weight!

I used to work for Eureka and I used to love their vacs, now they are junk and burn up with lots of animal hair. In the past 5 years I have been through 7 inexpensive vacs. I am saving now to get a Dyson. I clean homes for a living and they are the absolute best ones I have ever used. They never ever clog, are easy to clean and can pick up just about anything. I LOVE DYSON and it will be the only vac I ever buy again! For now, I have a broom, hardwood floors and 2 area rugs with kids. GRRRR. I sweep and mop at least twice a day, I want my DYSON!!
IN THE MIDDLE OF DIFFICULTY LIES OPPORTUNITY (ALBERT EINSTEIN)

I have a dyson, I got it from my parents used but I love it and would pay full price if i could.
Roomba doesn't seem effective to me. and I vacuum everyday so I feel like I would be emptying it every room or something. Plus i like having attachments so i can get the stairs and corners.
