Pleaes don't bash, CPS question

My daughter's half sister has a 3-month-old baby and is breastfeeding.   She smokes pot (which gets to the baby) and also smokes cigarettes and pot while breastfeeding.   Now I haven't seen this, have only been told by her sisters but isn't this child abuse?   She also smokes blunts in the car with both her 3-month-old and 3-year-old.   These kids are high all the time!  WTH?   I don't even know her exact address.   Can I do anything without that info and without proof of seeing it?   I just think it's really sad because the little boy looks "high" all the time.

I'm sure you could just call and let them know what you've heard. Here's a bump.

I think you would have to have seen it yourself. And if you can give direction to the house atleast, I dont think you need the address.

yes, id definitely call them with your information. they are required to launch an investigation. that lady is pure trash to do that to/in front of her kids, what a low class skank. you will be doing the right thing for sure!

If at all possible get her address and call CPS they MUST go check it out once a complaint has been made the only thing is trying to catch her doing it, cause if they go over and cant catch her doing it and see that there is no actual evidence then theres nothing they can do!!!

trust me ive been there done that.....im sorry i hope everything works out ok!

I don't see the harm in calling them and letting them know what you have heard.

not true..my 15 yr old sister told her friend my dad smacked her in the mouth for calling him an idiot..guess who showed up? the only people there were her and my dad--but they have to investigate what they have heard.

I'm not sure if that's true. I think with something as serious as that, they might go off heresy and investigate to find out whether or not what this person is saying is really happening.

I would call without a doubt.

I would try to get her address first.

Well the thing is, my daughter was smoking pot while pregnant and they tested her.   She had social work come visit us and was supposed to be in a program to get off of it.    She never participated and they never did anything about it.   Luckily she quit breastfeeding but it seems like CPS doesn't give a crap.
