Tell me my son's not the only one! ~Updated In Blue~
Ok Wierd title I know but here is what happened:
My son who is 16 and in the 10th grade got jumped on the bus this afternoon on the way home from school. It was out of the blue for kicks kinda jumping. I hope that he is ok and that these boys stop this! Ok heres what happened.
Kyle can home today from the bus doubled over and crying in pain. He said that a couple of guys jumped him on the school bus and he didn't do anything to deserve it. He was at lunch today and one of the kids said that he was in a good mood and someone on the bus was gonna get it. Kyle said don't do it not today and the other guy was like I don't care shut up. So when Kyle got on the bus he told them to leave him alone and moved seats. Well they followed him and two guys jumped on him and started punching him. He curled up into a ball to protect himself and they still kept hitting him, then they left him alone. Well he was sitting on the bus the rest of the way home and they were like sorry man we were just messing around, you know that right.
I called the school and got the Head of Discipline involved and he got the tape from the bus today. I took Kyle to the hospital to make sure he was ok and he is fine just a bump on the head and a bad bruise (like to the bone) on his left arm (top of forearm) and they called the police while we were there and we had to file a report. The cop asked if we wanted to press charges and I told him that I wanted to because I was tired of it happening because it is happening a lot (apparently another kids was jumped 2 days before ago). Well all of the parents and the kids and the cop are going to meet in the school tomorrow at 730 to discuss what is going to happen. So we will see what they are going to do when we go in tomorrow. I am so pissed on what happened I am not going to let this go over smoothly. The cop talked to the boys and one of them is sorry and really hopes Kyle is ok and the other one could care less, BTW these other boys are seniors.
Any incouragement or comments would be appreciated i just dont know what else to do, i cant sleep and its all i can think about right now! Sorry so long! Here a picture of my brave kid!

Kyle is doing fine the outward signs are fading and he is becoming his chipper self again. I can tell he is a little bothered he he goes out for the bus but he did go to school all last week. He was told by the school and the cop not to say anything about this just it is over and the school is handling it. He just keeps telling me he is tired of the stupid questions, or people calling him a faker. Oh well i cant do anything there. Kyle says he hasnt seen them on the bus or in school or in the neighborhood so they probably got expelled. The parents of the 17 yr old came over and begged me not to press charges because they didnt want to see their son carry a record around for the rest of his life like his father did. But i know now that, that boy doesnt care. I went on myspace and saw his profile and it said something to the effect of i will do whatever the hell i want to. That and my best friends son goes to the same school and rides the same bus and this boys friends are asking him who my son is because they are going to gang up on him now, thankfull J. didnt tell them anything cause he wanted to protect Kyle. The younger of the two boys has come over and appoligized to Kyles face, so i give him alot of credit there in the fact that he manned up and knew it was wrong and appoligized. We are still pressing charges, kyle needs justice and at the least the older boy needs an attitude check. Thanks for all the comments and concerns mammas, you are the best!
