Is this a boy or girl name?

Allyn

DH and I went to the mall to see Santa the other day. While DS and I waited DH went and grabbed 2 names off the Giving Tree. What he thought to be a boy and a girl. Then I realized with all the strange new names and spellings, Allyn could possibly be a girl. I hardly see boys names with a Y in the middle.

What do you think?

My guess is boy. Is there anymore information on the tag or a way to find out more information about the child?

I'd say boy but I'm not sure. They are supposed to say boy or girl and have age, and clothing size on the tag. I'd suggest something unisex to be on the safe side.

My best guess would be a boy.

If the tag doesn't state the sex of the child, you can call the host company (Salvation Army, etc) and give them the control number and they should be able to give you the sex of the child.
