Been there.  It does get easier.  I would call my mom(that's who watches my dd) on every break & at lunch to see how she was & hear about funny things she does.  I don't know what to tell ya, other than it sucks to have to leave.

Your going to think about them.  Your a Mommy!! A known worry wart!  I went back to work when my DD was about 6mth old.  It's hard not to think about it, but you make it.  My DD is 2 1/2 now.  I'm due with #2 in Feb.  I'm hoping I get to stay at home after this one, but we will see.  You can always call to check on your LO.

I hated it, but it got better as my DD got older. If I had had my choice in the matter, I would have continued to be a SAHM (even now that she's a high school freshman) or become a WAHM. BUT, I left my abusive ex-husband in 1995 when DD was 19 months old, and have been working full time to support her 100% (I don't consider his $89/month support as "support", it pays for her meds-when I even get it) of the time since then.

I just worked harder to make our quality time together as special as I could, leaving household stuff for after she went to bed, so our precious few evening hours were spent well.
