Housewives....*update*

I suck at being a housewife..

At any given point in the day if you walk into my house you will find

papers, clothes and dirt in my living room floor (laminate flooring)

dishes all over the counter

food under the table (my 1 year old is a thrower)

laundry piled in the basket, on my bed, everywhere clean and dirty

bathrooms need to be cleaned...

I HATE cleaning.. I work from home and I have 3 kids and I just can't stay motivated to do it all. I'm a lazy ass..

What makes you get all of your crap done?

Guess what my husband told me right when I started cleaning this disaster?

His 2 brother's and gf is coming over...

So I have been going crazy trying to get the main part of the house clean.

It stinks in here. bleh..

my house is always a disaster, too.

the only thing that makes me do it is knowing my SO is coming home from work, and my end of the deal was to keep this place decent.

I am a freak and hate it when my house is too messy. It's not perfect don't get me wrong. It is lived in lol..  but I am crazy and just can't seem to rest if the house is messy. I have to have the dishes done at leaset laundry started her room picked upand the living room decent before I can sit down and relax or it bothers me so I can't relax.. ggrrrr. I wish I was you... *pouts*

I'm a horrible house wife too.  The only thing that makes me get things done is either some sort of deadline or having a schedule.  Like Monday is change the sheets day, All Laundry must be done by Wednesday, etc.  And I try to do everything so that I have the weekend 'off'.  There are certain things I don't do every week though...like dusting.

I don't think there's anything weird about that, that's normal!  What's wouldn't be normal is if you worked from home with 3 kids and had a spotless house! THEN I would wonder what was wrong with you?! LOL

i suck at it too... hehe I finally talked hubby into a maid!! F Yea!! haha But there is a website called flylady.com and it helps alot of people stay organized and keep the house clean and its only like 15 mins a task idk i did it for a while and it worked well...  but thekey is keeping up with it  good luck!

I get overwhelmed. We live at my Parents house so I've got my Dad and my SO and my son to clean up after and take care of. Its a huge house and we've just run out of places to go w/ things. I try to do a little every day and my SO is good about helping.

My problem is I would rather sit on cafemom, or something then clean..

My house is really really scary right now..

But I need to work, and hit my goal for the day working,, then clean.. But... here I am on cafemom.. lol...

It's really depressing..I wish I was a neat freak..

I was about to write EVERYTHING you did.  OP~ I am in a group called The Cleaning Game Group http://www.cafemom.com/group/36971 . When I am having a hard time getting motivated I will play the picture cleaning game. And today I need some help, really bad my house is a disaster.

Awesome...thank you for the reccomendation. I joined. Hopefully this and that flylady.net website will help get this house lookin' good! Yay! I love when it's clean...I just hate the road to getting it there. So, cleaning games sound great!
