How many of you moms have your own business? What type of business is it? Is it kid-related? Or is it one of those "Work from home stuffing envelopes" types of gigs? An etsy shop? Just wondering what moms are doing to make money from home.
Do you make a living at it? Or just manage to pay for "extras"?
me and my husband run a heating and air conditioning business......it pays the bills. I am doing all the billing and what not from home, Im the voice hes the muscle.lol
Although Im looking to go back to work to pay the insurance, its soooo expensive between the company insurance and health insurance.
I used to own a baby boutique that sold some super cute stuff. But when I got sick and lost our daughter I had to give it up...was just too much!

I'm a Notary and in this economy it can be busy one month, then very slow the next. This weekend I made $400 off two calls, but last month I only made $100 from two calls. I don't pursue this fulltime, it is just for occasional spending money. My website is $4.99 a month, which isn't too bad.
The most I've made in any given month is $1,200.
I clean homes for a living. I don't work every day, and most days are 6-7 hours while the kids are in school so it works. It helps to pay the bills and I am trying to get out of debt. Hopefully I will be back in school in Sept. and will be able to cut back to just 2 clients.
