What' your reasoning??

Another post got me thinking about married vs single and sex and all that.  Someone explain to me why you would WANT to have multiple partners before marrying.  And, if you did have more than one, are you glad you did?  I won't bash, I just really don't understand.

me, ive never understood "casual sex". i lost my virginity to my bestfriend when i was 17, we did it once. and my so is the only other person i have been with. im too modest to have casual sex, it s too weird to me.

I had 4 partners before my husband. I don't regret anything about them. 2 of them were in very serious relationships and I got my oldest daughter out of one of them.

I wish that I would have waited for my hubby! But I've had friend's that lost their virginity to there hubbys, they have cheated because they didn't explore there option's.

I had "you can use me" sex due to low self-esteem; the original taker of the deal having begun to sexually abuse me very quickly in the "relationship."

I wish I had waited for my husband, and I wish he had waited for me. He only had sex with two other girls, and I'd been with three other guys. After he broke up with me the first time, I slept with 5 different guys in 3 months, which was more of the "you can use me" sex, and topped out at 11 total in 4 years...from ages 16-20.

I hope that I can figure out a way to explain to my children that being a slut was the biggest mistake of my life, and left me feeling so empty and lost. I'm so ashamed of what I allowed my life to be.
