I just had my baby by C-section, I'm healing great and then yesterday I was in pain from a Hemorrhoid! YUCK! I've been using preparation H and I'm going to the doctor tomorrow for him to take our my staples, so I'm going to ask for a stronger cream. But how long do they usually last for? It's SO PAINFUL!

I really don't know.  But I'm sorry you are hurting.  Here's a bump!

Never had one that was more than a minor nuisance...but invest in some witch hazel pads/Tucks pads, they worked wonders for me. Hope you get some more good advice :)

I have had one since the birth of my son 22 years ago. It never goes away but it doesn't stay flared up. It only flares up when I get diarrhea or a big bm. I know gross and tmi. Ask your doctor what would be best for you.

Try Tucts wipes or just plain witch hazel. That will ease the burning & it keeps everything clean. That's what we used 16 years ago. The hemmorohides will go down in a few weeks. Good luck.
