Mold on towel

How do you get mold out of a dish towel? I was cleaning out my DD closet and found a apple core wrapped in a dish towel (gross). Normally I would have thrown it away but it is a decorative towel that goes w/ my holiday decor. Thank you!

I heard that peroxide is good at getting stains out but am afraid to try it on this towel because it has a maroon print.

bleach works wonders...right now I'm trying to get this weird stain out of my ds favorite blanket(his nite nite) so far its gotten lighter but I'm going to keep trying with the bleach and I'm going to try that Oxiclean stuff
