I thought that i had heard that they changed the law to front facing at two instead of one, but my mom and husband think it is one. I was just wondering if any of you knew which one it is????

Still 1 as far as I know. The weight requirements are more important than the age. Just make sure you check your manual.

The law is 1 year and then the weight, which I think is 22 pounds.  BUT it's much safer to rear face as long as the seat will allow.

law is still one-just some many-if they truely are experts say 2/30 instead of 1/20-my kids are way past this so I only knew the 1/20 law (rule).

they have to be at least 1 years old and at least 20 lbs...

some moms choose to have their kid RF until the weight & height limit on the carseat. you can find the limit out by looking at your CS manuel or on the CS itself.
