She did this all by herself

My daughter (4) is having surgery (her tonsils and adnoids out due to severe sleep apnea) on tuesday.  My ex- mother in law is driving up to help give my daugther some moral support and just be here for her and help with my son (there own father will have nothing to do with the kids, but his mom still tries really hard to be there and i try really hard to let here) So my daughter is really excited that her grandma "bug-a-bug" is coming tonight so she wanted to make her something special so i let her bake and decorate a cake all by herself (minus the oven part) i think she did a great job.

Great post!  Never turn down love from anyone!  The ex is the one losing out but thank God for his mother!  You and your daughter have my prayers - and I definitely want a piece of the best cake ever!
