But i know they won't allow it at work. So do the clear things work well enough so that you can't tell its there? Or should i just forget about it all together? Oh and how painful?

Personally I think those are tacky. But then I am not really a fan of any facial piercings.

I have never heard of a monroe piercing...where is it?  Is it the one above your top lip?  Sorry, just have never heard of it.

I must be too old, because I'm sitting here scratching my head. Where is a monroe piercing located? My DD is 15, so I guess I should know the lingo!

i didn't think it was painful at all. the clear things work ok, you can still kinda see it..and you won't be able to put that in for a couple weeks after you do it. i thought it was a pain to keep changing it, I don't have mine anymore. i think they are really cute tho..i kinda miss mine

You can't put a clear thing in there until it is all healed up. It maybe more of a pain in the ass, then it's worth.

I have seen people with those clear thingys and I can always see them... If it will be a problem at work then I would probably skip the piercing... It's not worth spending the money so that they can tell you that you have to remove it....

What makes it tacky?
