Pressing 1 for English...anyone have one?

Was anyone able to determine which, if any, companies actually have you press 1 for english?  Anyone?  I hate being ignored LMAO!

Actually, I called to verify an income tax cashiers check, and that company asked me to press 1 for english.

The only company I ran into "press 1 for english" was way back when I called my PA card to see if I got my benefits yet. That's it. DH's customers complain to him that his company doesn't have that option for spanish b/c it takes too long to get to anyone that speaks spanish.

When I call to see the balance on my VISA giftcard it says press 1 for English.

Wachovia and T-Mobile, I know they do, I'm on the phone with one of those bastard companies every week it seems. Lol.

My FS card does and so does my credit cards.  But alltel does not
