40 weeks divided by 4 is 10 months.....

but when people talk about pregnancy, they say 9 months....

So which is it? Im confused

I'm 31 weeks so how many months am i? Ok so 7 months..

So I only have 2 months left? or 3?

Wow this is confusing to me. Thank you all for being so nice about it :o)

I just say 40 weeks...some months have 5 weeks, so I think that's why some say 9 and some say 10.

30days/7 days in a week is 4.28 something so every month doesn't have exactly 4 weeks in it. Some are longer and some are shorter.

It is actually ten lunar months thats why is it forty weeks. But because it is actually only nine calendar months.

There are 4.3 weeks in a month. 30-31 days in each month (except for February) and 4 weeks is only 28 days. So when 40 weeks comes out to be 9 months it is right.

it is 10 months, but they say nine months because no one knows they are pregnant for the first month

There is a little over 4 weeks in a month.  Pregnancy is 9 calendar months or 10 lunar months.

It is 9 months because you are due to give birth at the end of the 9th month.  So your due date would put you squarely at 10 months.  Does that make sense?  It sure does sound funny!
