My mom just stopped by and was in a pissy mood, she can't find the key that unlockes her back door. Well, Umm, I don't know. Anyway, says she is only here for a minute, yeah, here to vent. Then is on her way to the Jr High to get my neice that has called her sick from school. Virus thing going around, her baby brother was put in the hospital because he had. My mom says, oh, I might stop back by. Well, I sure hope not, take the sick kid home! Don't stop by here and get all of us sick with that mess. I am sitting here cringing as I write this. Please hope she goes on to her house after picking up my neice. Do any of you have relatives like this? What is my Mom thinking, I have 2 kids and I'd rather them not pick up this mess from my neice.

My advice is: don't open the door. Put a sign on the door: this is not the hospital. We do not want your germs.

Seriously though, she shouldn't come in your house with that. Just tell her nicely.

I would call her back and ask her not to swing back by - especially if she's bringing your sick niece with her.

 hehehe, yep, told her we don't want any of that germ. The closet to any mall is an hour away. That can't be my scapegoat. I think I know what to do, I will run and get into the shower. Then if she sits in the driveway with her cell phone she will ring my phone off the hook? Shoot, I don't know yet if that idea will work? But then again, don't know if she'll be right back or take her over to the dr. office. Why my brother or his ex wife don't take care of this, I'll never know?

It's YOUR house, if you don't want her there with a sick child then don't answer the door. If she has a cell then call it when she comes to the door & tell her to come back later that you don't want your kids getting sick.

 I don't have my cell phone and I can't call out from this line. I'm up sh*t creek as they say. I have to get dinner started because I am making a stew and it has to cook for an hour or more....dang, I am in a pinch! I don't like being mean to mom, but maybe she'll get the hint if I don't run and open the door! My mom has the # to my computer line, I can get calls into my line, but I turned off my local and long distance service, so, I can't call out on this line.
