So my daughter HATES the crib mattress. She wouldnt sleep in a crib so we moved her to a "big girl" toddler bed (she is a little over one) she is fine on it.. until the mattress bubbles and she rolls. Its one from walmart. She will sleep in our bed, on the floor... just hates the mattress..... im thinking about cutting a small hole in it to release some of the air... i dont know what else to do....

are there different kinds of mattresses for cribs out there?

why dont you just put her in a twin or a full, then you wont have the problem.

start her out with just a plain matress on the floor

There are, but they all have the same type of covering. Is it time to move her to a real big girl bed with a real mattress?

You can also get rails for the twin. Thats what we did with Ryan.

technically she can still roll off, but its not very far, since its just the matress and NO box spring, and if the matressi s a thick one, you can still use the rails for the side of the bed, but it makes it eaiser (matress on the floor) for them to get in and out of bed.

:o)
