I cant remember what age a child can have honey.. i know its after 1 but is it as old as 2? my Dr office doesnt open till 10 so ill call then to double check, but just wondering if any of you ladies know... We dont use conventional medicine in our house and my 14 month old woke up with a bad cough, so i wasnt sure if i can use the honey and lemon for him too.. thanks

by the way, just an FYI, dark chocolate calms a cough too :) so next time you're sick.. its a great "medicine" to have to take!! lol

I thought they could have it after 1.  My boys have bad coughs too.  What is this neat little trick you are using?

I'm not sure about the honey question, but I find dark chocolate is good for a lot of things...even menstral cramps and headaches...to bad it can't fis the economy.  I have a shirt that says, "All I need is love and chocolate."  lol

lol no "tricks" we just use wholistic medicine instead of conventional..  for cough we use dark chocolate.. and also mix 4 tbls of fresh squeezed lemon juice and 4 tbls honey and eat it right off a spoon.. also, Mullein Tea clears up congestion. and the big one is Silver Water... not the coloidal silver they have at like GNC but pure silver water.. from a company like Water Oz. Silver cures almost everything.. i even use it with an eye dropper to clear up the kids pink eye.

Disclaimer: im not a Dr!! before using any medical treatment consult your own doctor or wholistic care specialist!! :)
