My brother and sil are having a terrible time with their newborn. She has horrible colic. Does anyone know anything to do for it? Thanks

Gripe water, swaddling, just holding the baby.

they sell colic belts at like cvs or walgreens. check into those. My mil used something similar for my husband when he was born and it worked.

my son had colic and i would use milacon drops for all feedings and i would lay him over my one knee so his body weight would give even pressure on his tummy. they should also talk to the pediatrician it may be from teh formula or if she breastfeeds it may be something she is eating that is causing the excess gas. i wish them luck.

have them check with their pediatrician about reflux.
