Did you get your SO a Valentines Gift?  If so, what did you get him and why?  I want to get DH something but I have no clue.

I got him a Xbox Elite... hoping to get him off WoW, so I can maybe, just maybe get on the computer once in a while.  LOL.

Just a card. We decided a long time ago not to get anything on Valentines Day since our wedding anniversary is a week later. We just combine the two.

Nope, White Day is March 14, which is also our anniversary. I'll get him something then. (It'll be our third anniversary).

I was actually totally surprised to get a present at all! I never get presents from DH. He came home from work today with a rose. If it didn't have thorns on it still, I'd probably sleep with it! LOL! Too bad I can't keep it alive forever. Like I said, I have never gotten a present from DH before.

I made pillow cases out of some shirts that are his favorite but don't fit him anymore. And I got him three pic frames that are like Lego's for his desk at work cause he does not have any pic of the boys and me at work. I also drew him a pic of Darth Vader cause every time he sees Darth Vader he sees my love for him...I know that is strange but our first Valentines day I got him a little figure of Darth and so ever since he thinks or sees Darth it means that I love him.

We have a tradition of waiting to eat dinner until after the kids are in bed.  So we have a romantic dinner, (usually something expensive, it only happens once a year)  then I make some type of fun flirty dessert and we drink wine with the fire going.  We dont buy gifts because food is our lives, so a good dinner is all we need.  Making a gourmet dinner is a really good gift if your hubby likes to eat!!!
