Please help. I'm going crazy!

When my baby girl was born the pediatrician at the hospital told us that she has been diagnosed with alpha thalassemia. Its a blood disorder that affects the iron levels. There is a 25% chance in every pregnancy that our child could have alpha thalassemia major and won't even carry to full term because the blood is so mutated that the baby doesn't grow.

I'm 26 weeks pregnant with baby #2 and the doctor told me that my uterus is small and the utlra sound showed that the baby is pretty tiny but nothing major concerning.

I'm sooooo freaked out that I'm not going to carry to full term and we are going to lose this baby.

Has anyone else been this situation?  How can  I prepare myself mentally for something like this???

Can you find a support group for this? (I mean I dont think cafe mom has a group but maybe you can look online for info on this particular issue and maybe if you put the name of it for the title post it may draw others that have had it. GL
