question about autisim no bashing

 i do not want this to turn into anything if it gets nasty it gets deleted i have seen lots of posts about autisim and i am curious as to what it is yes i have heard of it but don't know much about it i dont know any one with it and i like to learn about new things if this offends i am sorry i am just curious

it is a very complex diagnosis with a broad spectrum of disorders .. Here is the link from wikipedia so you can read it at your leisure.  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Autism I dont think it is offensive to learn about new things at all.

I'm going to throw some more links at you.  Autism is really a very complex disorder and there is a huge range in how kids (and adults) are affected with it.  It is also a spectrum disorder so you will hear about everything from autism to aspergers and even ASD (autism spectrum disorder), they are closely related but there is a huge range from someone who is completely non-functional as an adult to someone with ASD that may have few if any problems in day to day life.

Its never crazy or stupid to try and learn about something new.
