Hi,
Just wondering if anyone has any suggestions for my situation. My 7 year old son was just diagnosed w/Autism yesterday. I was told to get him out of the public school system and into a special school to get a better education. Not sure what to do now. Should I investigate some schools myself or let the Billerica School system suggest some options. Should I get an advocate???? If so - where can I find one in my area. Not sure if I'll have a fight on my hands w/school. Feeling lots of anxiety.
Any info. would be great.
