I went to a small drug store in my area, and bought Midol, a box of tampons, and a pack of toilet paper. I go to check out, and there was only one cash register open. And I swear... this 18 year old boy was trying not to laugh as he was running my items through the machine. I couldn't help but to be a little embarrassed!! LOL!!!!
So.... What is the most outrageous items that you have bought at one time, that would make a teenaged store employe blush?? LOL!!!
OMG!!!!!!!!! YES!!! I thought I was alone on this one.....a similar thing happened to me I went to the drug store to buy tampons and sure enough it was a young guy at the register if that wasn't bad enough there was two guys in front of me giggling and one behind me in line, ERRRRRRRRRRRRRR talk about embarrassing!

ditto...my younger sister however (almost 21!) has to this day never purchase tampons or pads due to embarassment, she always asks someone else to buy them for her.

I used to care but not anymore.Sometimes I even search out the 18 year old male cashiers when I buy tampons and such just to see their reaction. Yep, I lead a dull and boring life if this is my amusement.
I used to be embarrassed to buy pads, tampons, that kind of thing. Now I don't care- I buy KY Jelly, whatever. I recently went shopping with my six month baby and bought a pregnancy test. I put at the end of the line and everybody could see it! I got a lot of sympathetic and weird looks (not pregnant by the way).
One time I started my period early, so I had no supplies. I was cranky, tired, and looked like crap. I went to the store wearing pajama bottoms and holey sweatshirt. I bought pads, midol, and a big bag of chocolate. The only cashier open was a pimply faced teenage boy. He kept trying not to smile while I went through the line. I was so embarrassed.

We used to goto walmart and get a extra large box of condoms, duct tape, and disposable cameras. Then go through the line of the oldest or youngest person working.
We had one older man say to use once "..You know you wont be able to develop these here right?"
haha
Since I became pregnant I have definitely gotten a lot less shy. I used to get embarrassed. I did get a good laugh when I went to the store this past weekend. I picked up ice cream, strawberries, colace (stool softener), Dramamine (supposed to help my nausea), and Metamucil. The cashier was an older lady and literally after looking through what I had bought, she just looked at me and asked how far along I was. She apparently thought she offended me and started explaining but it made me laugh that the items I bought made it that obvious. Now every time I go in there she asks how I am doing and is wanting to give me a whole bunch of advice.
Nope, I haven't. Why would I? I'm a woman! Everyone knows women have periods!
I get embarassed buying condoms or a douche. I tend to just look around & not pay attention to what they are scanning
