 a break from this group or Cafe mom for that matter?  I was on who woke up to this group and slept w/it . I took a break about 2 to 3 weeks i think and I'm glad i did.  I see so many rant post and it just makes me wonder  (=

I have from time to time. The negativity is overwhelming sometimes. CafeMom was meant to have moms support each other, right? More than anything, I see women tear each other down here. Lame, no?

I've taken a break for a while.  Honestly, all the drama sometimes is too much. It used to be fun to read it all, but then it also made me realize how many judgemental, rude, and just plain mean people there are in this world. I guess I was naive.  I've always thought that were alot of accepting people in the world more than you would think.  But, I'm starting to think maybe not. I'm not gonna lie but this group has made me consider just leaving CM a few times.

Don't lose your optimism.  There still are a lot of wonderful people, but they're not all on Cafemom, they're out in the real world.  People who have a lot of anger and like to put others down are attracted to internet forums.  And yes, there are still plenty of kind people on here too, but you have to expect the angry ones.

It upsets me sometimes when i come looking for advice about my child or marriage...and people either bash you..or nobody responds because there is no drama involved....
