when it comes to obstetricians whats better a male or female doctor? (from your experience)
I have had really good experiences with both. I think it is more of a preference. I have four children and another on the way, so I don't really care which gender looks down there anymore. I feel like everyone has seen it anyway...lol
i go more on the dr themself...i have always had males but simply becaused i liked each of their personalities...my dd had a female during her pregnancy and liked her...
ive only had females so i dont know. i have been 'seen' by a male since i go to a teaching hospital/clinic, but have never had a male obgyn (as my primary caregiver)
I think a females "bed side manor" is a lot better in most cases. Women tend to be more sensitive as where men tend to be more abrupt and quick to be done with you. In my experience that is !
I have had both. The practice I go to has 2 female MD's and one male. And he is funny as hell. Everyone loves him. The 2 female docs are real good too.
Gee, i'm not sure that a penis/vagina litmus test is a very good measure of a Dr's skills.
my last doctor was male and i dont really like him, but im most likely going to him again for this pregnancy, but part of me wants to find a nice lady doctor!
Quoting gabrielsmom2006:not sure.... I HATED mine!! ( a very rude male)
