I remember how my mom would let me play with the toys when I was little.  I completely freak if my kids touch any of those nasty things.  I find it utterly disgusting.  I think of all the sick kids who have sneezed, snotted, coughed, etc... all over those toys.

So my question is...

Do you let your kids play with the toys at the Dr's office?

I voted other bc our office doesnt have toys.I guess for health reasons. If we did though it would be hard to keep a 2yr old away so,i would wash the toy off with a wipe and then wash her hands

Yep. We love germs. However, my kids very rarely get sick, so they only go to the docs when it's time for a check-up.

I let them play with the toys at school and daycare also ;)

In our old Pedi's office they had the sick room & healthy room....this made no sense to me but the sick room had all the toys and a built in playhouse. I couldn't let my son go in there unless he was sick....I just didn't get it.

I voted yes.  I work for a children's hospital clinic and we have toys in our office.  We sanitize them daily with Virex which kills alot of germs so as long as the offices are cleaning their toys I see no problem with it.  My kids have never gotten sick either from playing with toys at the doctor's office.  I firmly believe that people who keep their kids away from everyday germs set them up for more illnesses when they go to school where they will come into contact with everything.
