Embarassing Gyno Question

I made a gynecological appointment, but I realize now that it might fall on my menstrual period.  I should probably reschedule it, right?  I mean, that would be kind of messy.

Unless you are having an IUD put in, you need to reschedule.

Yes I always schedule mine around my period.  I don't think they can do a proper pap smear while you are on your period.  Just call and reschedule, I'm sure they get it all the time.

i had an appointment and when i got there i had started they told me it wasnt a big deal and said they see alot worse. i was soo embarassed though.

if its a regular check up i'd reschedule, but if you have a problem i'd call and ask.

if its a routine visit then reschedule if your having a problem then you might want to call and ask the Doctor.imo

yea i would reschedule! i never like going to my appointments during my period i just dont think the dr wants to deal with all that!!!

my gyno said that as long as it wasnt heavy, then they dont care...if its heavy then reschedule...but ur not sure yet, so you may want to reschedule to be safe

you will have to reschedule they will not do a pap in you are on your period.
