my baby gets fevers every once in a while.  we just give her motrin and watch her to make sure it goes down.  you don't need to go to the doctor unless it gets over a certain temp (i forgot what) or if it lasts for too long

My kids fever was over the summer was 104.5. Gave him meds, nothing. Took him into the ER and they looked at us like we were crazy for bringing him in for "that"  101 could be teeth? If it goes down with tylenol it's prob ok but call your doc to be sure

the temp is 104.1 that you need to start calling the Dr. or taking them to the E.R. if the fever isn't that high all they will do is tell you to do what you are doing now, and room temp. baths.

Lots of kids run high fevers. Try wrapping him in a cool sheet or put him in a cool bath. If that and Tyenol doesn't get it down, call your doctor

You can give a motrin and Tylenol (alternating), that works best for James. Try a tepid (luke warm bath without shivering that will make temp go up). Leave him naked (diaper only). Give him something cold to drink.

if you give her meds and her fever doesn't come down give her a cool bath for about 5 minutes and see if it effectively brings down the fever. Otherwise you have to go to the dr.

Hello, i have the same prob.... Just to let you kno dont use tylenol it is only for pain reliever not fever reducer.. My daughter will be so hot and i will give her motrin which you should use for a fever and it goes down very quick. Now if a baby has a fever over 104 than you go to the docs but if the babies temp is 101 that is really nothing to worry cause that happens to kids often but you have to keep a good eye on it....

i know hes little, but the fever really isnt that high.  just watch him tonight and call the ped in the morning.   a luke warm bath and loose/light clothing will help.

i took my son into the ER during the summer when he was about 18 months old and he had a 106.4 degree fever.  of course it wasnt that high when we left for the ER, it jumped up fast.  and all they did was give him motrin and tylenol at the same time to get it to go down.  no ice baths or anything crazy, just regular fever reducing meds!
