My mom always said, Quit smoking, you'll regret it when your older. Here I am at 25 yrs old wishing I had listened to her. DAMMIT!!! You just never realize that they are always right until you're older. Funny how that works??!!!

  • hah,ha. Good one.  When I was 15 my rooms walls were covered in posters, drawing paintings, concert tickets. everything. My Mom use to always tell me that the paper was a huge fire hazard and ofcourse I never took her seriously. Then, 10 days before Christmas I burned down the house. Well, not all the way but it was totally uninhabitable.    She was  pissed, needless to say. She was so angry she didn't even yell.

  • Yeah, about the smoking too. She is/was a smoker and when I started she told me to stop before I was addicted... now I hate smoking but for some reason I cant stop myself. I dont want to smoke, but I have to... you know what I mean. I just want to quit already and be done with it... but I cant bring myself to do it. My mom has been trying to quit for two years now... she just bought her "last" pack a week ago... I hope she really is done this time.

  • I wish I had listened when my mom told me not to smoke. I've tried so many times now to quit and have yet to succeed.

  • The guy that I was dating when I was 15 was in college.  She warned me that he was too old for me and I would end up heartbroken.  Being a know-it-all teenager, I rebelled and continued to date him.  Of course my heart was broken and not just once.  Being young and dumb for love I tell ya.  I'm just happy I got out of that and now have a wonderful husband who loves me to death.
