I woke up at around 5 this morning and couldnt go back to sleep, well 10 minutes later I hear DD start to heave in her sleep... I ran over and picked her up just in time for her to puke on the floor. She was soaked in diahreia (sp) from head to toe... poor thing. She was tired and scared and shaking. I came out to the living room to change her diaper and next thing I know my SO comes running over from his work across the street. He came in and helped me get her dressed and laid her back down. Then he went to bed and I tried, but I was so worried she going to start puking again that I couldnt. She got back up again at 8, but this time she was in a great mood... started eating her cereal right away and downed half a sippy cup of milk. Im glad she feels better and I have no idea what caused her to get sick because I ate everything she did yesterday and I felt fine.

Ugh, im so tired now and I cant wait to lay her down for her nap so I can take a nap too...

Oh...the poor little thing! She must have felt miserable. It must have scared you too!

Glad your hubby was there to help! How did he know? Just a feeling?

It's a good thing you were awake too. Isn't it funny how those things happen? Just a mom "sense" or maybe her guardian angel woke you up! I'm so glad you were able to be there for her and comfort her before she had to go through it all by herself and cry to wake you! Thank God for the little things!

What a way for her to wake up too! All better and raring to go! What a blessing! Hope you get a nice nap in snuggling with your baby!

Poor thing...

My DD does that too. Sometimes she wakes up in the middle of the night or early morning and pukes, goes back to bed, and wakes up at her normal time absolutely fine. No one knows why. It's weird.

Just thought it might make you feel better knowing your DD isn't the only one with that problem. The doctor tells us there's nothing to worry about, so I'm your DD is probably fine too.

Just relax and try to take a nap when you can. I know all that can make for a long day...   :)
