Help me out! Tinfoil question..

I bought ribs to do on the grill (ready made Llyods) and it says to wrap the ribs in tinfoil and cook it for 15-20 mins. Well we're out of tinfoil and I really don't feel like running back out to the store. Do you really think it's needed? Should I just up the cooking time?

If you don't use the foil, then put them in the oven, in a deep cookie pan, otherwise they will dry out.
